“Brianna grew up in the Lower Mainland and was heavily involved in competitive dance and the world of aquatics which introduced her to the world of physiotherapy. She even remembers her first physiotherapy session as a patient: 8-years-old with an ankle sprain, and in a large intimidating facility surrounded by big machines and adults who were more than 3x her age – she even needed to bring a stool in to get onto the treatment bed! Needless to say, having gone through that experience herself, Brianna is so excited to provide a high level of care in a fun and kid-friendly environment so that the kiddos can focus on their rehab!

After years of competitive swimming, she decided to begin coaching and for over 5 years worked with athletes of all ages and abilities progress from the grassroots level and beyond- some of the athletes she has previously coached had since moved onto competing at a provincial or national level. She was also involved with delivering swim lessons to children with varying levels of ability and developmental conditions – it quickly became clear that this was an area of passion for Brianna.

While completing her Master of Physical Therapy at UBC, Brianna was lucky to snag a clinical placement at Kids Physio Cambie and the rest was history! Her favourite part of working with the kiddos is finding fun and creative ways to challenge their abilities to build success in all aspects of their lives, and watching them have the confidence to go out and conquer the world! When not at the clinic you can find Brianna scoping out local restaurants, completing her human anatomy colouring book, and finding new ways to wear her scrunchies (she’s got A LOT of them!).”
